Created by Joseph Pilates, this form of exercise has benefitted many types of people from soldiers in WWI to athletes to celebrities to busy professionals to stay-at-home moms. It is a form of exercise suitable for anyone – movements can be adapted to the specific needs and wants of each client. Benefits include:

Fascia Release

The fascia forms the largest system in the body as it is the system that touches all the other systems – James Oschman. The Western world describes fascia as the connective tissue in the body; however, it is so much more than that. With movement or trigger point therapy, the fascia is released gently. Benefits include:

A combination of Pilates, Fascia Release and various dance forms. This is not only a great way to get children moving and in touch with their bodies, but it is also something fun and different to be done for team-building and increased effectivity in a corporate setting.

My name is Cat

As a child, I forced my siblings to play “school-school” and these childhood imaginings became actualisations. I have spent the past few years in the educational system teaching learners in Johannesburg as well as China. During this time, I also designed and taught drama workshops at an amateur drama society and various schools. Outside of the school environment, I have spent many hours in studios teaching different forms of movement. Teaching has always given me purpose: I love to impart knowledge and create a love for learning.

I see myself as a life-long learner. Recently I have left the classroom to learn more about the connection between the mind, body and soul. I hope to help others find the magic that comes with the balance of these aspects.

I have a background in various dance forms, human anatomy, basic exercise science and comprehensive Pilates. I am on a journey of discovery in fascia release, Chinese medicine and living my best life with the combination of my past and present knowledge and passion.

I am a Certified ThetaHealer®. I have completed the Basic DNA and Advanced DNA seminars in the ThetaHealing® technique. I have found the technique to change my life and I believe it can make magic in all lives.

Bodhi is a dream I have had for many years. One day it will manifest as a magical space in which people can find peace, joy and a love for life.

Our busy and stressful lives too often cause us merely to go through the mundane motions of each day without being present and truly living. It is for this reason that I look forward to sharing a journey of self-awareness and understanding with you, as we learn to be mindful and trust our intuition, leading us to a life of meaning in each moment.
