My name is Cat
As a child, I forced my siblings to play “school-school” and these childhood imaginings became actualisations. I spent a few years in the educational system teaching learners in Johannesburg as well as China. During this time, I also designed and taught drama workshops at an amateur drama society and various schools. Outside of the school environment, I have spent many hours in studios teaching different forms of movement. Teaching has always given me purpose: I love to impart knowledge and create a love for learning.
I see myself as a life-long learner. In 2018 I left the classroom to learn more about the connection between the mind, body and soul. I hope to help others find the magic that comes with the balance of these aspects.
I have a background in various dance forms, human anatomy and physiology, basic exercise science and comprehensive Pilates. I am an Advanced ThetaHealer® and a Lyno® Method practitioner. I am always on a journey of discovery whilst living my best life with the combination of my past and present knowledge and passion.
Bodhi is a dream I have had for many years. It has now manifested as a small, serene space in which people can find peace, joy and a love for life.
Our busy and stressful lives too often cause us merely to go through the mundane motions of each day without being present and truly living. It is for this reason that I look forward to sharing a journey of self-awareness and understanding with you, as we learn to be mindful and trust our intuition, leading us to a life of meaning in each moment.
